This tour was short in duration and close in distance, with a bus full of 54 tourists. It was a four-day tour of four countries with different highlights, which was quite fresh. During World War I, Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo in Belgium, and the locals built the Lion Hill to show their pride and celebration. The Atomium, the landmark of the World Expo in Belgium, has a unique configuration and shines brightly in the sun. The Town Hall Square in Belgium was described by the great French writer Victor Hugo as "the most beautiful square in Europe", and Marx and Engels once drafted the "Communist Manifesto" in the White Swan Cafe here. The bronze statue of the Manneken Pis, erected in the pedestrian zone in the city center, symbolizes the spirit of independence. It is the city logo of Brussels and attracts countless tourists. The next day, I came to the seaside of the small town of Sveningen on the North Sea. I climbed the tower to look at the endless North Sea and the vast beaches and buildings, and I felt particularly comfortable. The Netherlands is known as the Venice of the North. Taking a cruise around Amsterdam, you can see the buildings along the river, bridges, and the leisurely life of the residents. We also visited three special folk customs: windmills, wooden slippers and cheese. On the third day, the bus drove to the Rhine River, and we could see the towering Gothic twin-peaked spires. This is the Cologne Cathedral, which is listed as one of the four largest cathedrals in the world. Bonn, the former capital of Germany, is the hometown of the famous musician Beethoven, and Trier is the hometown of the revolutionary mentor Marx. We took photos in front of the great men with reverence. The Black Gate beside the Moselle River is an ancient Roman monument. This black city gate was built in the 3rd century AD. It has a history of more than a thousand years and witnessed the wisdom of the ancient Roman people. It will be passed down from generation to generation. On the last day of the tour, the small country of Luxembourg was praised for its beautiful scenery, city walls, church bridges, but unfortunately there were no white clouds (photos attached).
